Meet Davelean

Hello There,
Meet Davelean. She is just one of the newest
characters that I have had the pleasure to
work on. I love developing character for
books. So, of course I want to know what
Yall think. She is about 6 ish or 7.

    She is so charming! Vanessa, you have an amazing talent for capturing emotion in your characters, and it gives them all such vibrant and endearing personalities and liveliness! (And you make it look so easy!) I wish I could channel some of your talent into my own characters. I love love love the top image of Davelean and her crazy wild hair!!! She's a wonderfully dynamic character!

    Davelean looks like she knows how to make any situation fun. She looks like an explorer, and one who makes every day an adventure. I love her hair and her expressions tell all kinds of stories. I love her.

    WAAAAAAAHHH! If the art director and editor don't like her, they don't know jack. She is C-U-T-E CUTE! Oh, I just want to pinch those little cheeks and squeeze her till she turns blue and then smother her with kisses. Look at all her expressions! You are the master!
