  3. Oh that is so cute.Seth is looking at the little girl who looks like she has a black eye and a missing tooth and he's probably wondering, "What did I get myself into?" heheheehehe. great work. Have a great week.

  4. Is that an accidental black eye I see? Oops!

A great sketch that captures that "first day" feeling we all probably remember.

  13. This is amazing, my friend! I love the subtlety, but it says so much about school and kids and teachers and life in school with kids and teachers!

    Love it and you!

  17. WAAAAHAHA! Aw, man, did his mother put his hair like that?! He reminds me of those adorable little illustrations way back when...I used to call them the onion heads, because their hair all sprouted up like that. Know what I'm talking about? Anyway, you create instant classics, Uber V. I love the look of ignorant confidence on the teacher's face. Ah, poor Seth.

You are too funny! No, I didn't disable my comments because of a harasser. Ces was trying to inflate the number up to 100, and it was the only way I could lock her out. HAHAHAHA! I killed her joy.

Hope you're having the most stellar day. Love you, honey!

  18. Hey Vanessa, 6am?! phew... I dont even know what 6am looks like hehe. But I admire your dedication. I was thinking about changing my avatar but maybe I shouldnt..?!

Thankyou for sharing with me about your book. Yes I know the song, its very famous! I had a listen to the podcast too, it sounds like those guys really liked it ;) I must say, I think its great what you have done, Im not aware of many childrens books which deal with history and especially a part of history which is so important. I think its imperitive for children especially to realise what went on in the past to better understand their present and take nothing for granted. Its so easy to not realise how different the world was even 50 years ago, especially for the newer generations...and to also not realise how some parts of the world still suffer from such oppression. I think I will add your book to my list of books to buy, it sounds like an inspiring read - and of course it looks beautifully illustrated too!

Thank you for stopping by and for your kind words, its always a pleasure. take care!

  24. ACK! ACK! ACK! It was not Bella's fault. I screwed up my login credentials that's why I could not get it. I had to tuck my tail in and apologize to her. She had nothing to do with it at all. But she still killed my joy for blocking the comment section after 96. What's up with that?
