Presenting... Talluah by Tori Spelling Illustrated by Me!

Okay, here is the surprise that I have been
wanting to share with you. A few people emailed
me with well wishes already. Thanks so very much!
I had the most wonderful pleasure of working
on a fabulous new book with Simon & Schuster
and Tori Spelling! " Presenting... Talluah" will be
out in September 2010.

    WOW, this is so wonderful. I am soooooooo happy for you, with just a teeny tiny sprinkling of envy. And it is beautiful too. I can't wait to see it. I already pre-ordered the drum book from Amazon. Vanessa, I just love your work and I believe it is going to be a really great year for you.

    Vanessa - Amazing! I knew it would be so fantastic, and it's beyond that. Your work is superb here..look at Tori's face. It's TORI's FACE! : ) Wonderfully sweet, and that little pup is so charming..love the foot positioning in her arms. Congratulations..the book cover is just so beautifully designed and I'm sure the rest of the book is filled with pages that have your uniquely Nester quality- that which is to me sparkly, full of positive energy, charm and beauty. I know this is just the tip o' the iceberg for many, many more picture books. I know Ms. Spelling must be beaming with how it turned out. : ) Yay for Nester!!

    Oh my gosh! Congratulations! This is so wonderful, and I am not at all surprised. Isn't God good? I can't wait to see it in print...and I feel like I kind of know the illustrator, you know? Oh, and you would be so proud of me, I've been doing a bit more animation and illustration lately. You are quite the inspiration. I even showed my art students your illustrations as examples in our animation section!
