Mia Looper did not take to kindly to the the Woodland brothers making her the grumpy old troll in their backyard production of "Three Billy Goats Gruff."

Vanessa, thank you for the beautiful things you said on my blog. Now I will depend on you to be a friend, and I will continue to admire your work.
As far as children go...I taught both in rural and urban areas and there are needy children everywhere. I agree with you about books and art being the ticket out of poverty and apathy. And you are contributing to that with your magical illustrations.
