Alice in Wonderland and French Shopper Paper Mache Doll

If you've visited my blog a few times, you may have read about my adventures down the "rabbit hole"
I am a lover of Alice In Wonderland. I make paper mache dolls too. I love them. Here is one I made called
"Alice" with red braids. This was was commission by a woman who loves Alice in Wonderland just as much as me. I have
also done some Parisian Theme dolls as well. They are all hand painted and numbered. Each one is different and on two are ever the same. They have been on display at the Parcel in Montclair, NJ. Many of them have been sold already. Nancy Laboz owner of the Parcel, has a few small ones left. If at all interested please visit shopparcel.com for more shopping information.

Okay, I know this is an old post, but you're starting to scare me. When I injured my back some years ago, as I recuped, I started making paper mache dolls. I used wire hangers and padded them with old shoulder pads torn out of my blouses and such. Then I covered them with canvas and covered the canvas with rice paper soaked in water and treated with gloss medium. Then I would make costumes for them to wear.

You are such a creative genius and I thank God that we've found each other.

You be blessed of God.

Where does your talent end? I don't think it does!!

I LOVE DOLLS. And want to learn how to make them with paper mache. So far I'm all about fabric.
These dolls are sooo cute, esecially Alice. Brilliant!
