My daughter is about to turn 8 and she and her friends are learning the joy of cooking.
They are so excited about making eggs, french toast and pizza. It's so much fun
to watch them. They inspired this little illustration today.
Have a wonderfully creative day everyone.

thanks for your comment, i'm happy to find your work! My younger daughter (2 1/2) is interested in cooking, which is very cute (and she's pretty good at helping) I love your picture for "late" too
oh, cool! have fun!
Very cute! I loved making french toast as a kid - still do!
I've been meaning to ask kyou, do you illustrate in Photoshop or Illustrator?
Oh, the joys of cooking! Adorable. My older daughter LOVES to cook, and my younger one has dubbed herself the Official Taste Tester. *sigh* I remember when cooking was exciting and fun. But these days, I get more excited by take-out.
Beautiful illustration! Thanks for your comment on my blog.
This is too sweet! My older ones are passed this stage and I have one more that will be in the thick of it in about four years!
Thanks for your answer, I asked because I enjoy your work so much and I can tell you also enjoy your blog.
I've too have found it a valuable experience. It's help me make contact with other artists and challenges me to push myself further. It allows my personality to show, you know the introverted extrovert.
Nice to chat to ya girl!
Cute :)!! Reminds me of when I had my first kitchen experience. Except I was covered in flour and vanilla extract.
Thanks for the visit! :)

Thanks for stopping by and making my day with the nicest comments.
Have a fab weekend;)
I like the warm color scheme presented. Your works are always warm and sweet.
my sons were the same at that age, and then they started bringing me breakfast in bed and i HAD to eat it, burnt toast and all...we laugh about it now they are grown up.
Oh, they're so cute!!! Let's hope they keep that enthusiasm
Vanessa, thank you so much for your warm and encouraging comment. It means so much coming from such an accomplished illustrator! I absolutely love the way you draw children - they have such energy and character, and are clearly portrayed with such love. I particularly like the simplicity and fun in this illo. Very best wishes.
