Vanessa, Thanks for the great comment I am a fan of your work too! Grew up in Clifton and I attended Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts not far from you. Now over 3,200 miles away. Once again thanks. Fusaro
You are Da Bomb, Vanessa! This is a fantastic illo....and such a wise, funny and utterly adorable take on this weeks prompt. The monkey's expression is priceless. Bravo - once again!
How right you are! Monkey nests are like big bird nests. I can just picture this cute rascal trying to squeeze into a tiny bird's nest. Heeeheee! I love him, Vanessa. I love the little tuft of hair on his head. Hey, I was born in the year of the monkey!
Sometimes monkeys freak me out, but I have to say, I would take this little guy home in a heart beat...and I am in love with that little bird! How do you do it lady! I hope you are having a very lovely holiday season, and if I ever get around to sending Christmas cards (ha ha) your name's all over it...Take care my dear!
Hello Vanessa, thankyou for your really lovely comment, Im glad you like it! I can take credit cards but it would mean you sending your details in an email if you feel OK about that? Go to email in my profile page and let me know. I am going to follow your blog too. Jane xx
Thanks for swinging by my blog. I haven't been doing much blogging lately. I had a great Thanksgiving, but right after my baby got sick. I love this illustration. Its a great departure from your usual. I, too, love trying out new styles. You amaze me.
so much fun from such a silly monkey… it's beautiful work as usual and i do dig seeing the different subject matter… (yikes! that discussion with my wife and daughter about hippy slang stuck!!!!!)
