Ah, someone else who believes in apron-use!
I'm in the same boat; a lot of work that is keeping me from hammering out blog-posts.
But mine is just plain old paperwork.......I think I'd rather have yours!
Love to you sisterfriend!!!

Yes, busy is wonderful, I'm so happy for you Vanessa! See, you are fabulous! Love the octopus dish she is creating. My hubby's boss is Greek and he does some crazy stuff with Octopus, looks like she may be creating one of his dishes! Have fun with your work Ms. Vanessa, but be careful not to work too hard.:)

Anything you say... just don't feed that stuff to your wonderful family!!! Ha ha ha... jk my friend. Funny this reminds me of my daughter because she decided long ago that one would merely have to sing to get out of the grip of an octopus... I've never quite figured out how she devised that solution, but I hope I never have to try it underwater ;).

I missed seeing your charming work, and glad to hear that you had "stuff" to do! I have to share a little story that this octopus you're cookin' up reminded me of. As a young girl, we visited my grandpa in Hawaii. Everybody was getting excited about the "tako" that they were preparing. Being from California, my tastebuds were gearing up for "tacos." At dinner time, out came a dish with tentacles, not tortillas! As you probably know, "tako" is Japanese for octopus- Anyway, it was delicious, and the tacos waited until we returned to California!

Beautiful illustration, Vanessa! I'm one of your biggest fans and wanted to make sure you knew I presented you with the Sunshine Award on my blog http://stewystuff.blogspot.com/2010/04/sunshine-award.html I'm glad to hear you're busy, but hope not too crazy busy! Thanks for all your inspirational work.

Mmmmm, whatcha got cooking there, mama? Did you know octopus in Japanese is 'tako'? So you gotta be careful if you're ordering some Mexican over there. You're not cooking him, though, are you. Oh no. You are washing the paint off his arms, because he's been helping you with your project. Yes, you need all the extra arms you can get. Good luck, sweet Sisterfriend! Hope you had a FAAAAAAAABulous Easter, eatin ham and chocolate and buns....mmmmmm.

Oh, and say! I love the new spring look on your blog!
