Spooky

Everyone else was afraid of the dark dank "Spooky" basement.
Lysan however, always walked lightly and carried a big stick.
The stick she carried just happened to a baseball bat!!!
I've got a feeling it's about to get busy! he he he he
Have a wonderful week everyone!!

When I was a kid the mother of my friend told us that they had " the Cucumber King" living in their basement. And that we should better not go downstairs alone. She was so serious about it that the little boy in me is still frightened of dark basements. And sometimes I am too. ;)

Gorgeous work, as always!
All my best!

I imagine by the expression on Lysan's face that she also carries with her a hefty batting average and is about to "clean up!" Hee hee! Happy Friday to you! :o)

haha...I had a baseball bat when I was a child (which was kind of strange because baseball is not popular here) but I never thought of using it as a weapon against the creatures in the dark :D
I love the look on her face, she's really in control of the situation there. So cool.

Another delightful illo Vanessa. Your blog always makes me smile! And I can see you are loving Halloween...I hope your kids are having fun with it too. Ours are teens now, so it's not quite the same. Now they enjoy scaring the little kids. Seems like just yesterday when THEY were enjoying being scared by the big kids!

Well. All I know is I wouldn't want to mess around with her and I'm not even that spooky, but I'll go and find myself a nice hidden corner of the basement. Great illustration! Have a great weekend.
