Old Toys

I love old dolls and toys. Just a little illustration
I worked on for a sample.
NJ is about to be hit again with yet
another snow storm. Stick a fork in me
cause I am done. This will be my last post
for a little bit. Need to take care of myself
and some other things too. I won't be able to
response to comments so please don't be
offended. You know I'm good for them he he he.
I'll be back in a little bit.
Shalom my friends.

These are simply lovely! I can look at these for hours. Such wonderful work as usual! Good luck with everything! And snow sounds so nice (but everyone I know on the East Coast is SO over it!), but in the NW it's just rain, rain, rain! xo

These are divine Vanessa! I could look on your work for hours and always find something new. Like a kid in a candy shop you totally let your imagination run free with the tools you use.

We, down here'a, are sick of the cold and rain. 38 is too cold for the southern tier in March so I feel your northern pain. Kudos for giving yourself permission to take time off from the Bloggersphere - you will be missed but hope the time is good and refreshing.

Old toys have that much more love in 'em. These are sweet, sweet dolls. Ooooh, I love the pipecleaner arms! Ugh, they don't even call them that anymore, do they. Now it's something fancier like Chenille Stems or something. And I'm enchanted by the handwriting, like the dolls are each trying to tell their stories. Beautiful!

Awww, V, old man winter's giving you some final sugar. You go take care of yourself now. Stay warm, stay happy. See you again soon.

XOXOXO

Hey Vanessa! Well, once you get to N.C, you won't have to worry about all that snow! Sorry for my lack of visits-I've been so busy, I had to crawl under that rock you're always crawling under when you get busy!
Fantastic stuff as always and I'm looking forward to the amazing stuff you'll be posting upon your return. Who knows, maybe we'll see each other under that rock!

Old toys have a very one special beauty, all the love they recived from their children- friends make them look so adorable.
I truely believe, that they, when they have been loved, have a soul.
Well at least my old, damaged teddy-bears have one.
Have a great week
Hugs

With old Doll Hugs and tight Dollie snugs at night when mama put you to bed. That's what I remember about my old Rag Dolls. Vanessa, have a relaxing time off and pamper yourself.

I buy my daughter a trompo(http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_JFIL7wP2SqY/S7Ev6iOMQkI/AAAAAAAABEY/fNlIjo4z4Mo/s1600/003.jpg) each year. It was one of the few toys that accompanied me in the childhood. Hugs.
