Coach Tony Dungy and his beautiful wife Lauren
have written this Ready to Read book called
"Ruby's New Home" What happens when Mom
and Dad bring home a brand new puppy? All
the children's want to help and take care
of Ruby. Tony and Lauren do a wonderful
job sharing this story and I got the chance to
do the illustrations. Check it out. Hope that everyone is
safe and dry wherever you are. Have a great week.
Love it! And congratulations. So great to see a successful and working illustrator be so open and willing to share on Blogger. I learn so much just by watching and listening. Be blessed and well this week. And thanks for being out there - sharing and inspiring this old girl to continue on in her dreams.
ReplyDeleteTerrific new addition! The puppy has such zip! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteYay, you! Looks great, V!
ReplyDeleteSo COOL! Tony Dungy is one of the nicest men I have ever heard interviewed; I am not a football follower but he is an exception.

That's a great cover. As always you capture the fun so perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI remember Tony Dungy playing football at Parkside High in the town where I live. I talked to Tony's Mom and Dad in a parking lot after checking out their custom painted football design on their van.
ReplyDeleteThat cover has a lot of energy! Just like you, keep up the wonderful work and spreading joy like you always do! Also, my film is DONE! Do take a look at the blog sometime :)
ReplyDeleteVanessa!! How are you my friend?
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely cover! This makes me think of the time when my dad brought a baby puppy to the house when I was a kid! I couldn't imagine a better present that that! I could not believe my eyes when I saw that sweet little doggie!
Another great book greatly illustrated by the one and only V. Newton!
Sending you and expresso hug from the ends of Europe!
