I love the singing pickles!!! Gentle swirls and bright colors! Have a great weekend Vee. Today is busy, watching my daughter's play again because I missed her monologue yesterday. She opened the play but I was in the bathroom. She found out that I missed it and she was misty-eyed. She told me not to come and see it again and to forget it but I insist. Hehehehe. Hah! Sometimes a mother has to insist for her epsilon's sake. After the play, a baby shower. I need more weekend days. Doing laundry until I leave for the play. So much excitement, eh? Sigh*** Tsup!
Wonderifical weekend so far because you stopped by, Vanessa..and OH my goodness gracious, I just am floored by your love at my place..thank you SO so much. I just so highly esteem you that it makes me tear up..you are just so generous and I love you for that! It's been an interesting morning..headaches, then rest, then more headaches..and sheesh, just now cracked a tooth! (dagnabit!) I just gotta give the body a rest, right? I hope you are back in good health and it sure looks like you are feelin' good from these amazing "doodles-which-are-fantastic-illustrations!". The pickles sure caught my eye!!! And my goodness, your African-American Nesting Dolls just simply rocks! I can see 3-dimensional ones of these..perhaps Eric can collaborate! : ) And you know that I think so extremely highly of Eric too that I am flattered you even mention me. Hee! I agree..let's get cracking on the stuff we want to put out there and not worry so much about critiques and such. I'm going to live by that motto, Nester! I applaud you for working spherically with your art (I heard that term in Under the Tuscan Sun) - it really just made so much sense..one day you work 2-D, the next 3-D, one day you break lines, the next you stick to the lines..etc. I think you are just following your natural path of awesomeness..and I am applauding you all the way. Big hugs to you my friend!! xoxo
oh vanessa! you are all sassy sweetness! I honestly don't think I could possibly love your illustrations one bit more! they are so zesty and full of love!
Wait!!! Don't turn the channel! This is my favorite show. The Saturday Morning Doodles! Oooooooweeee they are a fun group! I love that you have happy little children singing in your head. And mutant pickles.
You made me laugh so hard with your comment today. I have been called a boob many times, but I have never been called a bra! Hahahaha! Lift and separate? Noooo, I would rather bring the girls together.
how i love your choirs. they also encourage my song. & i deeply adore that colorful sleeve/hand providing the string of flags...& oh, that gorgeous woman in the lower left part of the doodles/i wonder what's all coming from her & even without knowing, i can see it's all beautiful. how do you know all these beings? all these movements in the spirit that come through your pen? somehow you do. & your communication of all you see is delightful. lovelove xoxox
Hi Vanessa!!!! so wonderful to see these all came out of your head and onto some paper for us to enjoy!!!! wonderful work!!! love these characaters!!!!
Hey Sweetie, I want to peek inside that head of yours and see who all is there because it looks like a super fun world! (much more entertaining than mine at the moment...LOL!) You just need a parakeet in the mix to make it really wild...hahaha! Or five.... Love you bunches!
Wonderfully refreshing doodles my friend. What a great idea to just doodle and play. But, all your work has that wonderful spontaneity; doodles, sketches, finals and all. I hope to one day breathe that same level of joy into my work.
