The Best Kind of Oreo

The best part of life is having good friends and good friends that
become family, is even better.
My sister Coy and I always wanted a baby brother.
My Mom gave birth to a stillborn baby boy.
We named him Allan. Allan would have been
35. No one will ever take Allan's place, but
we have been blessed to have a wonderful
addition to our family. He came when we
where all in our 40's. He was raised by his own
wonderful family. Now adopted by us,
we get to have him as our very own brother.
This is the best kind of Oreo!
Love you guys

What a sweet cookie story! Brothers are precious no matter how they come. I lost a brother at a young age, and would love to have a brother in my life, maybe I'll adopt one too!

I thought it is not polite to say "oreo" for what you mean. Ah but we can call our family anything we want for we love them. So, do you know that in my family they used to call me "mantiquilla"? That is margerine. Maybe because it rhymed with my name. I love Oreo cookies, especially with a cup of unsweetened tea. Vee, I am going to S.C. soon. Love you. I am glad to see you posting once in a while. You must be very busy and that is good. Tsup!

I need to get me a great big cup of milk. And then I'm going to sit down and enjoy your story all over again. Heart-bursting love, dear Miss V! I think there's enough love in there to make this a Double Stuff kinda joy. Much love and peace and happiness to you, because you deserve it.

V, Oreos make the best cookies (and relationships)...You weave so much heart into every image you do and you ain't afraid to tell the stories like they are. What a gift! So sorry but your loss but so happy for your gain.
