One of my favorite movies is,"The Read Balloon." I really don't know why. It's just so sweet and and moving I guess. I just had to capture the moment with an illustration. You know how it is? All you dyslexic folks know what I'm takin' bout. Have a wonderfully sweet day! Shalom

You've really captured the feel of the film in this illo. Really lovely!

Now I did not know that it is national Doodle Day. I was going to work but now I have to doodle. Vee, your illustrations are always so endearing. I always have recollections of myself as a young girl running in front of our house when I was a kid and the light in the atmosphere looks like it is just sunset after a light rain, a sort of sepia tone and I am barefoot, running, running and laughing. Thank you for always taking me back to those times. Tsup!

Oh yeah, that was a great movie. You don't know why?To tell such a moving story with just a balloon was nothing short of genius.

Nice tribute piece.

Awww, so cute! I certainly do know what you mean...;) I don't think that I have seen that movie, but with my memory I could have seen it several times and only remember that I have seen it once I start watching it again. Then I finish watching it, even though I have seen it before because I always like to finish watching a movie once I have started watching it. LOL

Absolutely adorable. I've seen that movie around, but I have not seen it yet. I will go add it to my list now.

Love you, V!

I'm dying! This is so gorgeous. Love the quiet sweetness but there's movement here. And the colors here--sigh--wonderful!
