Late

Cedric Cobblepot was always running late. He really needed to get his enormous love letter to Lillian Davenport before she married someone else. Sadly when he arrived, she was already married with babies and car payments. Cedric then realized that he could have sent a smaller letter instead of hand delivering a bigger one. Lesson: Bigger in not always better. hee hee hee.

That's really funny. I like the over-sized envelope and the design of Mr. Cobblepot quite a bit.

i want to marry cedric. i mean, i don't want to dump my husband or anything but i really just wanna hang out with cedric, carry stuff for him...wear those glasses, grouse about having long red hair and all those stupid "are you a weasley?" jokes. he is perfect, vb! and this story is already running in my head....it's as if sometimes this style of yours comes from another era...and you're wearing lots of petticoats or something, or maybe smart black capris, and penny loafers, a pencil tucked behind your ear, in your manhattan loft studio, listening to etta james. :))) i so totally see it. :)))

Great illo!!! I love everything about it. The story has so much potential - you should totally expand it into a book or at least a small poem.
Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog :)))

OK it's not JUST the illustrations, it's not JUST your adorable, whimsical, charming stories...it's both together that are just so awesome!! Seriously, if you wrote a book or a movie or whatever, I would have to own it. When are you gonna get working on that? :)

Oh, poor Cedric... I love his long nose, and curly hair (not to mention his colorful clothing!) I bet that large envelope was full of love. I think Lillian Davenport made a big mistake... ;-)

You have such a way with both words and pictures!

Great character and story, awesome colors too!

This is wonderful. Love the really robust colours; the character is great even if the story is a bit sad. We hope he married late and was happy.
