Instinct

Red's instinct told her to head of to Granny's house right away, but she simply couldn't
resist just one dance with such a charming wolf. Oh why, oh why do we ignore
the voice in the core of our being that says, " Something is wrong fool,
don't be a sucker for this foolishness!" We somehow put it in the back of our minds.
Instinct is there for a very good reason.
It's your indicator that let's you know, something is fishy.
So the next time your gut says ,"Don't buy that car it's a lemon!!!!"
or "I needed to call you just to say I love you and I was thinking about you."
or "Don't marry this chick she's a mental case run don't walk to the nearest exit now!!!"
Listen up Yall!!! and I know you know what I mean.
He he he he he! Instinct, it's more than a fragrance use it!!

Hahaha! Oh, lady, you KILL me! It's more than a fragrance.... ! Fabulous fun, this one! Of course, they ALL are, but this tells me to get up and dance, against my better judgment. I have bad instincts. And a weak gut.

Can my wolf come over and play with your wolf?

We don't always have the right instinct that's why we make wrong judgement.
I love this piece by instinct....and it seems to me that I can recall the scene from movie "dances with wolf".

Your art is so fun! Despite his sharp teeth, Red sure looks to be having the time of her life!

Every woman needs a little wolf in her man...lol! They look like they're having a hot time in the city! As usual, your wonderful humor, style and great talent has provided us with another fuj-filled illustration!

Amazing illo. The concept, shape, color and life are perfect. Your creativity and skill need to be published in print.

What wonderful gestures in this piece as well as the feel of danger due to that deep red - great take on the topic and just a wonderful illustration overall... but of course that comes as no surprise. =) Hope you are having a good weekend.

First off I think this is brilliant. But I got a very different take from the image than from your post. Red looks really happy. This gave me the impression that not all wolves are bad--some are really good dancers! (I love the fragrance bit though.)

This Little Red reminds me of the one in Into the Woods...
She should think twice before spending time with that shady fella!

Thanks so much for the kind words my friend! Post all you like, I dig it. As for the facebook pics, well we shall see... I do tend to be a tad shy about sharing photos, guess that's why I'm not a photographer :).

Love the color and playfulness of your painting. And, yes, we must learn to follow our gut more! The heart is a wonderful indicator, but can get us in trouble if we don't use our brains too!
