Makeup Works

I have been a Makeup Artist for many, many a year now. I still do it as a side job and I must
admit I love the stuff. It's something about doing a makeover or under on a woman and watching
the reaction. I'm the makeup artist to woman who don't like makeup. Most of my clients really hate the stuff and only wear it for T.V appearances , photo shoots, or weddings. This is an illustration I did for a possible business card. Yeah, I know I have my hands in 40 tills, but in this economy you had better he he he!
MAKEUPPPPPPPP!!!!
Have a great day.

Ooh, ooh, ooh! This is amazing. I used to be a make-up artist, too! You are such an inspiration in all things creative. I did make-up for local designers and used to do scouting for new talent.

This is such a beautiful illustration and would be perfect (I think) for a business card. It's so vibrant.

Once more, you have displayed your brilliance.

Hey!

Great to know you're a multi-artist with multi talents! ;)

I do like this illustration, but I think you could do something a little different for a business card to be honest. Perhaps one of your really awesome 'vintage' looking girls sitting looking all pretty. Cuz this just shows the eyes only- and you do whole face make up (i'm assuming)

Plus, you need space for ur info, etc... but really nice colours! ;)

Talk to you soon xoxo

You are a woman of many talents, Vanessa! This is a beautiful illustration for your b.c.! I'm happy that you're one of those women who doesn't make the lady look like a TR–MP if you know what I mean. I know you're a lady of culture and couture, so that didn't surprise me! I've been delayed at posting, but just wanted to swing by, say hi, mention that your Pattern piece is outstanding! (your characters' outfits are so fantastic, Vanessa)...and that you can touch base with me whenever you have any spare time..I'm always around. I know how busy it gets! I, too, feel like I've got my hand in different tills too. Have a great rest of the week!!

Love the colourful long lashes. I've got a thing about drawing eyes too, usually with long lashes, pehaps because I would like long lashes but havent got them.

Ssssssexy! Ooooh, Uber-V, do you go around wearing a cape and spandex tights? Well, you should, because you are some kind of superwoman! What can you NOT do? Geeeeeesh! Ok, now I gotta make me an appointment with you, right away, because I need some serious makeup-ing. I don't like a lot of it either, and I know you must do such an awesome job! You would not make me look like a clown, because I KNOW you know clown, and so you'd know how to avoid it. OHhhhh, girl, you are too MUCH!!!

Ditto to Cheryl Lynn, I'm not sure who or what sparked or hopefully reignited your first love fashion illustration!, but by golly I am more than grateful! Bout time I say, bout time. I love the card V! You betta-work-it-girl! I love the ease and sincerity with which you put yourself and your abilities out there. It is refreshing and I am confident that you will suddenly happen upon all the expression and compensation someone of your calibur and God given talent so richly and rightfully deserves. oh wow, I was so faszinated from your pictures, that I have not read, that you are also an make up artist.

without words, that´s the main thing I want to do all the time, but here in Germany it´s soo expensive to go to the make up academy. it´s so sad, because I love art, and make up.

I do like your work and I´m happy to stopped, yesterday at your blog.

That is a very seductive eye you made up!!! Very cool! It is great that you have many tricks in your bag, and I'm sure you enjoy make up a whole lot, but I do hope things with the Children's Industry pick up soon.

It's all been but crickets on this side after my first mailer, but I'm still confident...

Hope you had a fabulous birthday weekend!!!
