Don't worry Marsha. The place you have in Reggie's heart is only yours. He's got lots more places for his new friends... :-). I love the look on Marsha's face!

You sweet lady you...I am most humbled by your post at my blog...here are my answers: : )
Published a book...no..but have had my illustrations in one or two, but through toy companies..does that count? I wish!! I hope to break in somehow...picture books would be SO amazing. That would be the cherry on the top. This was my first workshop/conference and so I was a bit shy to show my work, so no, noone approched me.. I did, however get to show my work to Amy Bates (AMAZING!) and also Laurent Linn (AMAZING, too!) afterwards. They were both very positive and my piece (the Dr. Lion (Shirley!) and patient Mouse) got very positive reviews from the roundtable panel..whew! They said it was a "strong piece" for an art sample to send out to publishers...YIPPEE!!!

No, you're not being nosey..I don't have an agent, I haven't sent anything out yet, but hope to soon...I just want to do more illustrations to really feel strong about my "launch" does that make sense? And, you can ask me anything anytime, you know that. Email is fine (shirley@gabbyandco.com) or by phone (408.203.2993). You are just the best! I may call you to pick your brains about things too. Your blog speaks volumes, so really, you don't really need a site, do you? : ) Always so great of you to swing on by. Thank you, sweetie!
