Contagious

Natalie's sense color and fashion was very contagious.
Right down to the little red hat she wore.
Remember when it was okay to dress like your friends.
Then one day we grew up and suddenly having the same
outfit isn't cute anymore hee hee hee!
I'm still trying to figure that one out! hee hee hee!
Have a wonderful week!

Woooooooo! They look like Destiny's Child's Children! Look at how adorable they are. So chic. And with SASS! Do they coordinate their walks, too? Love these little girls. Hahaha!

And then you have people like my husband and his friend. They go out and buy matching shoes! or matching watches! Ok, not entire outfits, but puh-leeeease!

they look like they can be a part of a fashion show... walk theramp.... they've got the attitude.... the body language... and the clothes...

personally for me, i never had that feeling of wanting to wear what the other children were wearing, we had uniforms so we were all wearing the same dress anyways... but otherwise, at home or during outings, i'd walk around in my grandfathers huge overcoat and a cap and a muffler, all before and through my high school... that style wasn't so contagious though :D

Such a true statement! Oh for the days when we all couldn't wait to not only get the same outfit but wear it at the same time! Gone are those days as now even when we wear the same color we must find something to be different. One day again we'll learn the power in a force instead of the falter in being indiviuals, there's so much power in numbers. Thanks lady for enlightening us!
I'm going to get my red hat, let me know when you're wearing yours!

Hi Nessa, I have a request for you. My husband is a book designer and is looking for an illustrator to do a little piece of work for a book he is doing some development work on. I told him about you as I thought your work was just what he was looking for and he agreed after looking at your blog. It is only one small illustration for now but it could lead to more if the book goes ahead. Im afraid as its development work there is no fee so I would quite understand if you did not want to do it, but hopefully the book will go ahead and there would be more paid work. If you are interested you can email Ian at ian.winton@virgin.net Lots of love Jane xxx

I'll wear one... you wear one...and we'll do lunch!!!

There are those lovely ladies that dress in purple and wear red hats... the cutest bunch ever, but not so great to sit behind in the theatre!

You're work never ceases to amaze me and everyone else. Thanks for the compliment on my blog. I do not have a perfect answer for your question but here it goes: I recently tried MANGA Studio (you can down load a demo fro free) and really liked the way there ink brush lays down a line. Not sure what it is about it, but it compliments my style and the physical way I draw my cartoon work although I have only just started playing around with the Demo. In regards to blotchy ink line, I would think that there must be some brushes for PS or Painter that will give you that unfortunately I do not have any great scoops on that. If there is some piece of mine that has the look you are talking about let me know and I'll tell you how what I used. All the best.
