The marionettes now rested and in control of the situation would show
girly who was really in charge of the show!!! Once the hierarchy was in
place, the three got along nicely. You can catch their bit in Dee's bedroom
where she serves them ice cold lemon aid and oils their joints regularly.
No children were hurt while doing this illustration hee hee hee!!!

I love this illustration. Great take on the topic. So very creative. Revenge of the marionettes. It's perfect. Thank you for your comments on mine. I'm trying to find my way.
That little gal has the look of someone who knows she will get out of that "mess"... wouldn't want to mess with her. =)
Great piece! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend.

Woooo! Wasn't this a Twilight Zone episode???
Fantastic as ever! I am having a giggle fit over the mischievous look on girly's face. Boy, the marionettes don't know what's coming to them. I wouldn't drink that lemonade if I were you!

You are decidedly utterly brilliant, Vanessa! I've just spent a very happy half hour catching up on the posts I've missed (life has been a whirlwind lately!) and I think I must have ooooooooohed and aaaaaaaaaaahed countless times! Your marionette series are STELLAR! This one is so perfect for the 'hierarchy' prompt, you genius, you!
Great illo. I bet you could do some great phlebotomy illustrations with your experience...I'm the one facing the wall and humming a tune.

I'm digging the style on the last few pieces. I also considered the marionettes for "Theater." I always enjoy seeing your work; your style is cheerful.

I love the style of this one... a very cool retro feel.
sorry I hadn't stopped by lately - it's good to catch up on your stuff!
Oh your sense of humor is wicked! Love it! What a great, unique take on the theme.
I love how you've used the same characters from last week. Great take on the theme.
Very nice lines and the girly seems not one bit amused :)
I love the retro style; love the characters' expressions; love the textures. Great job. As Val said, these would make great prints!
Puppet?…master? We should all be careful if we try and manipulate others.
Terrific idea as ever, wonderfully executed.
Hahaha! If I was a marionette, I'm pretty sure that I would do exactly the same thing. Maybe burn the theater down too! Hate it when someone tries to control my life (this goes directly to my boss)! :P
Great great work Vanessa - as usual!
