Cracked

Soup Spoon could no longer contain his true feelings about Forktina.
He decided that they would tell Dish all about their torrid affair after dinner.
Of course Dish cracked at the news. They explained that they
were better suited for each others. What the couple didn't know was that
Dish wanted out of the relationship anyway. She had a handsome
Platter waiting on the side. Tuned in next week when Soup finds out
that Forktina is having a baby for Dr. Spork.
Hee hee hee!
Have a cracked weekend everyone!

Love it! Very nicely done. :)

Brilliant! I love that Dish has a smooth, cool, platter on the side.

Such a torrid love triangle. I suppose that a young and innocent Dish (her adrenaline obviously running very high after Cow's extreme stunt of jumping over the moon, no less) ran away with that worldly Mr. Spoon a little too prematurely...

BAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh my goodness, Miss V! You cracked me up real good. Your kitchen is HOT HOT HOT. Whew! ssssssssssssssss

Poor Dish. The whole ordeal gave her a wrinkle. But quite honestly, she's much better off with Platter. Those two can stack very nicely together, if ya know what I mean. Old Soupy never did anything for her except scrape his head all over her face. He and Forktina were made for each other. Why, just LOOK at his toothy grin! FAAAAAAABulous! Hahahahahahaha! Such a kick-butt and hysterical illustration. I LOVE IT!!

That whole dish running away with the spoon story was getting pretty old and hackneyed...Love your version SO much better!! A real crack-up! Thanks!

ArtSparker said...

I particularly like the dish. What do inanimate objects get up to when we're not looking?

It's funny, and definitely a synesthesia thing, to my mind the knife is the older male, the fork the younger, and the spoon is female.

Thank you for your nice comment. Very cool, retro design.

So...something's cooking at the dinner table and the dish, from the main course, has been reduced to a side dish :) Interesting, let's see if the spoon lands in a soup in the next episode ;)

Hey, my Girly. Hope you're having a great week so far. I just wanted you to know, I'm sitting here at my job (doing absolutely NOTHING!) going through your blog. I am soooooo impressed. Your work is just magnificent. You have no idea how much you have inspired me to break out my paint, brushes, and pencils once again.

Just had to tell you, thank you for the smiles you bring with the brilliant work that you do!!!

Love you much, my dear.
