Vanessa, thank you for the beautiful things you said on my blog. Now I will depend on you to be a friend, and I will continue to admire your work.
As far as children go...I taught both in rural and urban areas and there are needy children everywhere. I agree with you about books and art being the ticket out of poverty and apathy. And you are contributing to that with your magical illustrations.
