Pinky Sweetness

I love the old greeting cards designs of the 50's and 60's.
Here's one that I did for a greeting card company.
Have a great day.

Wonderful. I wish they would sell cards from that company in Germany.
Your art truely should be spread worlwide.
I hope you are not angry with me.
I know I did not do you justice with the "jersey girl", but it was ment as a compliment.
Hugs
Janine

I love seeing all these little characters that you bring to life, full of attitude!
The pink in this is one of my favorites--I seldom get to use pink in my quirky work and am drawn to it quickly!
Bravo Vanessa! Ya rock.... ;-D

Dear Vanessa,
thanks for your comment, but I am a little bit surprised to find it under my "Three muses"- entry. The digital collage is not the jersey girl.
But the women of the world, America/ New Yersey / Vanessa.(that´s the post before)
Did you see that too?
I hope you recover soon.
It is very upsetting to have the flu.
I feel a little ill myselfe.
Where the hag is spring ;0)
Have a great day

Hi Vanessa just catching up on your recent blog entries. I was really taken with your last one where you touch on your childhood and talk about why you create such uplifting artwork! I found it so interesting to read a little about your background and what inspired you to create the art that you do. I love your work because I feel like you really show your heart and soul and that's why it's so inviting, such positive energy radiates from your work I think that's such an amazing talent to have. Thank you for sharing with us!!! Love latest pieces you posted so cute and lively!!! :0) Hope you're having a great week xoxox

It's no surprise that's your inspiration. Your work has always reminded me of the old Disney cartoon of the sock hop...do you remember that one?
