No More Snow Please Lord

Gosh, Jersey is being hit with a nice storm. I've had my fill
of snow. I need spring. Stay safe and warm and very creative!

From one Jersey Girl to another, enough is enough! And we live in Long Branch, notorious for NOT calling school off even when it's pretty bad out. Love the illustration...hope that this is NOT an endless Winter, it will end some day!!! xoxo tara

Oh yeah! Guess what. We had snow flurries here the other day and this morning all the roofs were covered with ice and frost.

I love it. I love my winter. I get to wear winter fashion without the winter blues.

I wish it snowed down here. The last time we had an inch of snow, they sent us home! HAHAHAHAHA!

Seriously, I hope your weather warms up. New Jersey is a beautiful Garden State. TSUP!

Tired of the snow in the Midwest too. Sunnier days will be here soon!

Wonderful illustration, Vanessa. Here, in the city of Salamanca, only it snows one or two days in Winter. I´d like more snow, he, he.

Beautiful beautiful flowers!
I long for the spring as well... totally had enough of winter already, he he he! (don't know if my allergies are so eager to see flowers as I am, though!)

I never, EVER thought I would say I was sick of snow and Winter.
BUT!!!!
I am VERY SICK OF IT! ;)
I am ready for spring and little green tips pushing through the thawing earth, and the smell of fresh, clean soil and of course, all the allergies that follow. That has to be proof I am tired of winter! LOL!!!
HAng in there dear!

XXOO!!

beautiful! would make a lovely print! I was sick of the snow 2 months ago, so I am basically in full cabin fever mode. my patience is growing thin. the only good thing is at least i can look at beautiful pictures like this that remind me that spring is soon to come!

You are really in the thick of the storm. I wish you well. I lived through many of those NJ storms until we moved to northern New England. Ha... you are having the kind of weather that we should have up here.

I love your painting and it makes me wish even more for spring...whatever that is *:)

Vanessa,

I'm too lazy to make a sammich, so I baked blueberry muffins in a coffee-cake tin (lazy there too!) and that's my lunch! LOL!!!
Oh, and iced tea.
It's always iced tea season here, no matter how stinkin' cold it gets!!!
Take care girl and enjoy the drawing!!!

XXOO!!
Anne......all sugary and caffeined-up!

I can't believe how much you guys have been pummelled this winter! We're finally getting some of the storm this time, but on top of three inches not your three feet!

Love your spring image Vanessa, makes me feel hopeful - I can't wait to see those daffodils coming up, stay warm!

I'm looking forward to spring too, been a bit more snow here today but its mainly just dreary, wet & dark. Love the ladybird or do you call them ladybug?

Awwww, what a fresh drawing. And so fragile, too, like spring. MAAAAN, I feel for you. It's been a brutal winter. And you know this ain't the end. There's always one little latecomer in March, one straggler who couldn't get his butt to the party on time. Bundle up, baby. Go sledding down your driveway, build an obscene snowman, and then come in for piping hot cocoa. Better yet, fly on out west and spend the rest of the winter with me. Your whole family!

Love ya, V!

Thanks for stopping by Vanessa - hope you dig out soon!

Awwwwww, honey, of course I'll dance. I'll wiggle 'til I jiggle and body parts that shouldn't be moving threaten to fall off. I think, though, in order to get things REALLY hot and steamy, you need to get both Eric AND Peter to put on those coconut bras. That should melt all the snow away and dry up the storm clouds into next week!

Glad you still have power. I heard power lines went down in Westchester.

Love ya back and then some!

Vanessa Sweetheart!!!

I danced! I DANCED THE HULA and the CAN CAN and I danced the CHA CHA but instead of melting your snow, it made our temperature go down so now I have to wear sweats over my grass skirt and now I itch all over. I had to use my coconut bra when I stopped by a water fountain because the water squirted on my face so I had to use the coconut bra for a cup! What a mess. I am busy busy busy. I am on call and my pager has been going off since 8AM today!!! And I lost two drawings!!! The drawing I did for Deborah's birthday which I promised to give her and then a new drawing I started for IF. I hope I left it in the lobby at work and someone will recognize it and return it to me. SNOW SNOW. My sister went to work today. No excuse for nurses not to go to work. Keep your buns warm. TSUP! TSUP!

I hear you! We have had some crazy rain/wind in NH and woke up to a few inches of snow on the ground besides. Can't wait for spring, but this kind of weather also makes me hunker down and be creative. =)

Love your flowers and the little ladybug! I'm in NJ too, so I can totally relate. Cabin fever is setting in!

This has been a pretty bad winter for a lot of us. We might be getting some of the white stuff on Tuesday. Don't worry spring is just around the corner...I think! Lol

I had just said yesterday that I'm pretty sick of the snow, ice, and the cold myself here in Southeast Michigan. I purchased a putty-colored three-quarter length trench coat yesterday to try and hurry the spring along. I hope it works!

Love you and the drawing is BEE-U-T-FUL as per usual.
